Designs and delivers the guest-facing Journey. Pays Host Families first. Transfers surplus to the Trust. The commercial engine that makes everything else possible. Launching November 2026.

The source, sustained.
Holds donor relationships and diaspora capital. Builds the endowment that makes Strot permanent. Designed to function across decades, not seasons. Planned to be instituted 3rd year onwards.
Three Values · Every Decision
Dignity

Every decision must leave the community member better off: materially, culturally, and in terms of their own agency. If it does not, it is not a Strot decision.

Authenticity

The food must be real. The relationships must be real. The experience must be irreplaceable. Strot never specifies what Host Families cook.

Integrity

Every rupee is accounted for with precision. The surplus flows back. The trust is built slowly. The institution is designed to outlast its founder.

The Twelve-Day Journey

Three clusters. Three distinct culinary civilisations of India. You stay inside real homes, cook with your Host Family, walk the morning markets, and on the last day at each cluster you choose which meals you want one more time. No two journeys are identical.

The Guest Commits Fully

Guests pay a single price for a complete twelve-day journey. An honest price for an irreplaceable experience. No aid narrative. No distortion.

Host Families Paid First

Host Families paid within three days of a cohort's conclusion. This is the foundational economic promise of the institution. No exceptions.

What Strot
is not.

A Tour Operator
Strot does not arrange sightseeing, monument visits, hotel bookings, or general India travel outside of what is contained in the host cluster and intended as part of the Journey.

A Charity
Guests receive exactly what is described, in full. The community benefit is a consequence of institutional design, not a transaction guests are making.

A Platform or Marketplace
The guest relationship belongs entirely to Strot. Host Families are partners, not vendors. Every guest books directly with Strot and pays Strot directly.

A Development Organisation
Its development impact is a byproduct of institutional discipline and fair economics: not a programme it runs, not a story it sells.
